I am sharing my learning

Mrs Worsfold said, "What a great job you did as the 'teacher' at the student lead conferences. You have really showed resilience with your learning."

We are learning to copy a rhythm.

We had a fun music lesson and we learned to clap the rhythm of our names and copy patterns.

Abbie said, "Mrs D gave me a certificate for trying hard."

I am learning to make the beginning sounds

I am learning to make the beginning sounds in unknown words.  I need to get my mouth ready to make the sound and this activity helps me.

"I can read in my head.  I can robot the word to know what they are." said Abbie

We are learning to write for an audience and publish quality work to share.

Abbie said, "I like reading with my buddy. One is called Eva like my cousin."

I am learning to order numbers to 10

I can put the numbers in order from 1-10.  We will be working on number order and numerals to 20 next.

"I can make 5 more of the pattern.  I can write my numbers right now."said Abbie

Elm Park 50th Party

We launched our Celebration Inquiry with a huge party for Elm Park School. This year our school will turn 50! We had a great day with our school friends and our whanau.

"I blew bubbles and had a treasure hunt. I wore my party clothes."

I am learning to form my numerals correctly.

I am learning to write my numbers around the right way.  I am able to write up to 6 correctly.

Abbie said, " I am trying to get the numbers the right way."
